The Zonal Director of FRCN North Central Office, Mallam Haruna Idris has charged staff of the New Media directorate to be innovative in the operation of the organization’s website to compete favorably in the digital world.
Mallam Haruna Idris gave the charge at a one day training for selected new media staff from the FM stations across the North Central zone in Lafia.
He explained that in a fast growing digital society, there is the need for staff members of the corporation to take proactive steps in uploading timely, accurate and balanced stories to remain actively visible online.
The Zonal Director advised the participants to pass the knowledge gained from the training to other staff in their respective FM stations.
Unveiling the FRCN North Central website, Assistant Director of Information and Communications Technology, ICT, FRCN Headquarters, Mr. Christopher Agoha challenged staff to acquire basic knowledge of Artificial intelligence, AI to improve their ICT skills.
The participants are drawn from Precious FM, Lafia, Highland FM, Jos, North Central headquarters Lafia as well as the General Manager Harvest FM Makurdi
