Team Nasarawa State Athletes have all been successfully screened by the National Sports Commission Screening Committee ahead of the commencement of games at the 9th Edition of the National Youth Games in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The screening of all the Athletes across the Federation was carried out inside the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
Some of the State Athletes who spoke to Radio Nigeria Precious FM expressed happiness after passing the screening, noting that they are now ready to make a mark in this year Youth Games.
At the conclusion of the Digital Registration Management process, a total of 6,382 comprising, Athletes, Coaches, Team Officials and State Delegates have been confirmed to represent all 36 states and the FCT at the 9th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
According to the National Sports Commission NSC the National Youth Games is more than just a competition, It is a celebration of talents, determination, and national unity.
The Games will be officially declared open today , Friday, August 29th August 2025 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
