The New North Central Zonal Director of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Mallam Babayo Askira has assured management and staff of FRCN Precious FM of a robust working relationship towards effective service delivery to its teeming audience.
He gave the assurance during an on the spot facility tour of the station in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital to assess areas for immediate intervention.
Flanked by some management staff from the zone to include the Heads of Administration, Nma Ibrahim, Marketing Usman Shehu, New Media, Tina Francis, Audit, Sylvester Bikut, Mallam Askira urged staff to dedicate themselves to their assigned tasks to uplift the people and unite the nation.
Askira described Precious FM as his adopted station, promising it would receive the necessary attention to function optimally and serve the people within its reach.
Earlier, General Manager of the station, Alhaji Ibrahim Abimiku briefed the Zonal Director on the station’s operational structure, highlighting challenges that require support for sustainable broadcasting in a tech-driven landscape.
The GM assured the Zonal Director of the station’s unwavering support for his success.
Alhaji Abimiku led the Zonal Director on a tour to the seven departments namely the Engineering, Administration, Marketing, Programmes, News and Current Affairs, Accounts and Audit where he was shown facilities including the power station and the transformation efforts of the station’s management team.
