Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has urged Muslims in the state and across the country to embrace actions that foster peace, unity, and prosperity.
In a goodwill message to mark this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, Governor Ododo reminded the faithful that the birth of Prophet Muhammad symbolizes timeless virtues such as humility, patience, and compassion, which are essential for building a just and peaceful society.
He called on Muslims to demonstrate love, kindness, and generosity towards their neighbours, particularly the less privileged, noting that such deliberate acts help strengthen communal bonds and promote national harmony.
Governor Ododo further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring a safer, more inclusive, and economically vibrant state through people-centred policies that prioritize the welfare of citizens.
