The Project Coordinator of Kogi ACReSAL, Barrister. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, has called on communities across the state to actively embrace and support the ACReSAL project in order to fully benefit from its interventions.
Barrister Jatto made the appeal in Okene during the ongoing World Bank/Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) Engineering Technical Mission to the state.

She emphasized that strong community involvement in areas where the ACReSAL project is being implemented is crucial to ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the initiative.

The Project Coordinator also expressed appreciation to the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his continued commitment to policies and programmes that prioritize food security in the state.

The visiting engineering team is currently in the state to assess the progress of ongoing gully stabilization projects, evaluate proposed gully erosion sites, and provide guidance to the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) on measures required to ensure the sustainability of the project.
