The lawmaker representing Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone, comprising Akwanga, Nassarawa Eggon and Wamba Federal Constituency, Senator Godiya Akwashiki said in addition to building the LGEA school at Nunku Community, the provision of electricity to enable residents to upgrade their means of livelihood has begun.
Senator Akwashiki who also awarded the construction of an Exam hall for the Nunku and Moroa/Anjida communities to make teaching and learning easier promised to provide Boreholes, Electricity and good roads linking Nunku, Agyaga, Gudi- Moroa/Anjida, Angwan Mpa, Koha, Muchu, Bakin Kogi and Lele as well as empowered over one hundred (100) women including fifty (50) from Andaha with sewing and grinding machines, to cater for their immediate needs and support their family upkeep.
The lawmaker who is re-contesting for the seat of the Senate under the Social Democratic Party, SDP, called on residents of the areas to always pray for leaders and conduct themselves peacefully as they vote for SDP for continued development and empowerment of the zone.
Emir of Gudi, Alhaji Sule Bawa who wished Senator Godiya Akwashiki success at the polls come February 25th 2023, called on people of the area to vote tested and trusted candidates who have their interest at heart, rather than vote for people who have selfish interests.
District Heads of Andaha, Nunku-Agyaga, Moroa/Anjida: Yonana Zamu, Idris Musa, and
Almaiyawo Umar, resolved to re-elect Senator Akwashiki for quality and purposeful representation.
Some residents across the aforementioned communities in Akwanga: Deborah Hassan, Ahmed Abdullahi, Joseph Friday and Sule Bai said no lawmaker since 1999 has done what Senator Godiya Akwashiki has done for them hence he has their support.
