Cash Crunch: Kogi Security Council Advises Citizens To Remain Orderly

Citizens of Kogi State have been advised to maintain law and order as they strive to get cash for their daily transactions.

Kogi State Commissioner of Police, C.P. Akeem Yusuf advised at the end of the state Security Council meeting held at the Government House, Lokoja.

The Police Commissioner called on the people of the state to sustain the peace and not disrupt lawful business transactions as commercial banks strive to meet customer demands.

CP Yusuf said that the Kogi state security Council enjoined all security agencies in the state to work assiduously to ensure the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming polls.

He explained that the council directed that all unauthorized security personnel on illegal duties in Kogi State be arrested and brought to book.

CP Yusuf noted that the security council further cautioned perpetrators of crimes and those with intent to disrupt peace in the state to steer clear.
