COVID-19: Aisha Buhari Calls for Total Lockdown

The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari on Monday called for a total lockdown over the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

In a tweet via her official page, she said “It is commendable that state governors have closed down schools; however, this could be counterproductive if parents are still going to work. We should not isolate students and expose their parents”.

In a related development, the first lady has prayed for the quick recovery of the son of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, who had tested positive for coronavirus.

Atiku in his statement noted that his son has been moved to Gwagwalada specialist hospital.
