Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN says it is working hard to fine-tune ways on how to improve the nation’s dwindling economy occasioned by the Covid nineteen pandemic.
National president of the Association, professor Mohammed Akaro Mainoma disclosed this during a visit to governor Abdullahi Sule at the government house lafia.
The president, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Professor Muhammad Akaro Mainoma said they were in Nasarawa State for their conference to delibrate on past events, with a view to proffering solutions to some of the challenges confronting the society.
Professor Akaro Mainoma explained that ANAN, being a professional body, has a great role to play on issues that affect the socio economic wellbeing of the people and also to look inward on how to enhance the nation’s economy.
The ANAN president noted that the Association is the first professional body in the country that established a University to enhance learning among citizens,noting that plans are underway to establish ANAN polytechnic in Nasarawa State.
On his part, governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State said with ANAN in place, the country have several certified Accountants to work in the public and private sectors.
Governor Sule appreciated ANAN for noting the inpact of covid nineteen pandemic to the economy of the Country.
The state governor lauded ANAN for reviewing some of the past events as well as the effect of the Covid nineteen pandemic on the nation’s economy.
