COVID-19: Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Donate Relief Materials

The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria has donated relief materials to the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 for onward distribution to Nigerians as palliatives to cushion the effect of the lockdown.

Presenting the items to the National Co-ordinator of the PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu in Abuja, the Deputy National President of the Society, Alhaji Yusuf Ibrahim said the items include Four Hundred bags of rice and two hundred and fifty cartons of noodles.

Alhaji Ibrahim noted that the distribution of the palliative was also replicated in Lagos state which is the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria.

Receiving the items, the National Co-ordinator of the PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu commended the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria for it’s contribution and urged other religious bodies to follow suit.

Dr. Aliyu used the opportunity to advise Nigerians on the need for more heightened awareness on the Coronavirus which has killed over two hundred thousand people world wide.
