COVID-19: Kwara State Records Five New Cases

Five of the results of samples sent for Coronavirus test in Kwara State have been returned positive.

Confirming the development, the Special Assistant on New Media to Kwara State Governor, Mr Fafoluyi Olayinka via his twitter handle @OlayinkaSolace said that with the latest results, Kwara now have five confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Mr Olayinka added that, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq enjoined everyone to stay safe, expressing hope that together “we will defeat coronavirus”.

As at the press time, Kwara State has conducted one hundred and twenty eight tests, with eighty seven returned negative, nine confirmed positive, two discharged, thirty two awaiting results and zero fatality.
