Covid-19: Kwara State to Shut Schools from March 23

Kwara State government has directed that schools across the state be shut down till further notice as from Monday March 23rd to prevent the spread of the Corona virus pandemic.

The directive is contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin, the state capital.

According to the statement, advised residents of the state to maintain the high level of hygiene as a preventive measures.

It urged members of the public to remain calm and adhere to all safety measures earlier announced by the state’s ministry of health and other national health agencies.
