Emir Of Lafia Solicits Support Against Insecurity Across The County

In order to win the fight against insecurity across the country, Nigerians have been admonished to show commitment towards supporting government at all levels to winning the war against the menace.

The Emir of Lafia and Chairman, Nasarawa State Traditional Council of Chiefs, Sidi Bage, gave the admonition in an exclusive interview with Radio Nigeria in Lafia, the state capital.

The Emir of Lafia who said, constructive criticism helps in improving good governance, appealed to Nigerians not to be in a hurry to criticise leaders who are working hard to ensure the safety of their lives and property at all times.

According to the Paramount ruler, it is high time Nigerians ought to have a change of attitude because, the desire of every leader is to provide an environment conducive where people of various ethnic backgrounds can peacefuly coexist, invest and contribute their quota to Socio-economic growth of the Nation.

Justice Sidi Bage Retired further explained that the responsibility of maintaining Law and Order should not be left to government alone as everyone is a stakeholder in the fight against insecurity in parts of the country.

The royal father therefore called for a collective efforts and commitment from both Government and citizens to surmount the current challenges bedevilling the country.

The Emir of Lafia, Sidi Bage enjoined traditional and religious leaders across the country to always preach and practice peace and love to their subjects as it would go a long way in complementing Federal and State Government efforts in making the country a safe haven for all and sundry.
