FG announces Ag. Solicitor General As Apata Bows Out Of civil Service

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami has named the E-Library of his ministry after the retiring Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Dayo Toba Apata.

Mr Malami announced this during the send-off and handing over ceremony in honour of the Permanent Secretary who bowed out of service on the attainment of the compulsory retirement age of 60 years.

He said Mr. Dayo Apata had been resourceful, committed, and patriotic in the discharge of his duties over the years.

Mr. Malami explained that the Ministry of Justice would miss Mr. Apata’s repertoire of knowledge on vital aspects of the law, and stressed that the Permanent Secretary deserved national honor in view of his meritorious services to the nation.

Mr.Dayo Apata thanked Malami for projecting him to the world and for giving him the opportunity to attain the peak of his career in the civil service as Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice.

Meanwhile, the Director of Public Prosecution, Mr. Mohammed Umar, has taken over from Mr. Apata as the Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice.
