FG Hands Over Erosion Project to Plateau State

The federal government will ensure no part of the country suffers neglect due to geographical location or political affiliation.

Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen stated this at the commissioning and handing-over of an erosion control project at Sabon Gida Village in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

She said the Government would continue with the implementation of all genuine policies, agreements and contracts that lays solid foundation for a viral and prosperous nation.

She enjoined the community to maintain and sustain it to enhance opportunities for economic growth.

In their separate remarks, the Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong and the Royal Father of the Area, Chief Bamaiyi Gosele expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for completing the project, which they describe as the first of its kind in the Local Government since the return of democracy in 1999.
