Governor Sule Relieves SSG Of Appointment Over Alleged Fund Misappropriation

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the relieve of appointment of Secretary to the state Government Alhaji Aliyu Tijani.

A statement by Permanent Secretary Government House, Administration Alhaji Hamza Gayam on behalf of the governor directs Alhaji Aliyu Tijani to handover to the Permanent Secretary  Cabinet Affairs and Special Services, office of the Secretary to the state government with immediate effect.

The statement commends the former Secretary to the State Government for his services and support for Governor Abdullahi Sule led administration.

The former Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government Alhaji Aliyu Tijani was indicted by the state House of Assembly for alleged embezzlement of about three hundred million Naira out of the one point four billion Naira contract for renovation and Fencing of Public Secondary Schools in the state when he was Commissioner for Education in the previous administration.
