IBEDC Donates Food Items To Support Kwara State Palliative Measures.

Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC has donated relief food items worth one hundred million Naira to Kwara state and other states within the purview of the company’s coverage.

The Kwara regional head of IBEDC Engr Musbau Ajisafe who led the management team to the Kwara State Deputy Governor’s office said rice, noodles and semovita were the food items given by the company to support the state government palliative mearsure for the poor in the state during this lock down in the fight against Covid-19.

Engr Ajisafe noted that IBEDC is committed to providing kwarans regular power supply and also not disconnect non paying customers during this period except it is based on safety advisory.

He noted that IBEDC essential technical staffs are on ground to repair faults promptly.

Receiving the Donation unbehalf of the state government, Kwara state Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi appreciated the community Social intervention gesture of the company and expressed gratitude of the state to the management of IBED

Radio Nigeria correspondent reports that there were trucks load of noodles,bags of Rice and semovita which was stocked in the state Banquet hall for onward distribution to the people of Kwara state.
