Kaduna Govt Approves 5 Road Contracts Worth N9.9 Billion

Kaduna State government has awarded Five New Road contracts at the cost of N9.9 billion under its Urban Renewal project.

Managing Director of the Kaduna State Roads Agency KADRA, Engineer Mohammed Lawal Magaji stated this while speaking with Radio Nigeria on recent development after the Covid-19 lockdown in the state.

He gave a rundown of the new projects to include, Isa kaita to Millennium City round about, Badarawa to Ungwar Dosa, Pan drive to command junction, Waziri Macido and Sultan Surami Roads.

He said the earlier contracts awarded including Yakubu Gowan and Raba roads to train station were at different levels of completion while three other contracts had been completed.

Engineer Mohammed Lawal Magaji maintained that the under pass bridge construction at leventis round about is expected to be completed by the first quarter of next year while the kawo fly over will be completed by third quarter of the same year urging resident to be patient with the congestion being experienced.
