Kwara Govt Lifts Curfew In Ilorin

Kwara state government has lifted the curfew placed on Ilorin metropolis following a peaceful protest that turned violent in the state.

A statement issued by the Chief Press secretary ,Rafiu Ajakaye said the lifting of the curfew is effective from tomorrow, November 12.

According to the statement the increased joint patrols by security agencies within the metropolis and across the state will strengthen the gains of the past weeks and keep criminal elements at bay.

The statement urged the residents to go about their lawful business without any fear.
