Kwara State Intercepts Two Cars Loaded With Passengers

Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has intercepted two Toyota Saloon cars and a Toyota Haice bus loaded with fifty-two parsengers out of which fifty percent are children.

According to the spokesperson of the command, Mr Olasunkanmi Ayeni, the two Toyota cars left Zuru in Kebbi State for Kwara, while the Toyota bus was leaving Kwara state for Zaria in kaduna state when they were intercepted at Oke Oyi, Ilorin East Local Government area of the State.

The State Commandant, Mallam Bello Ale, gave an immediate directive that the two vehicles coming into the state be escorted out of Kwara State.

The Commandant also ordered that persengers in the bus which operated from the state be arraigned before a mobile court on 11 May, 2020.

The Kwara State NSCDC Commandant, while reaffirming his personnel’s commitment to enforce adherence to the ban on inter state movement to check the spread of Covid19, charged the people on maximum support through useful information.
