Nasarawa State Discharges Four COVID-19 Patients Including Index Case

Nasarawa state government has discharged four covid nineteen patients including the first index case in the state.

The state Commissioner of health pharmacist Ahmed Baba yahaya disclosed this in a joint press briefing shortly after the expanded security meeting at the government house lafia.

According to the state commissioner of health pharmacist Ahmed Baba yahaya out of the twenty five covid nineteen patients in the state four were tested negative of the virus after receiving treatment at the Dalhatu Araf specialist hospital lafia.

Pharmacist Baba yahaya explained that government is not relenting in its efforts towards given adequate attention to the remaining patients to ensure their quick recovery.

The health commissioner also said government will continue to intensify contact tracing across the state in order to curve community transmission of the disease

The meeting also agreed that neighborhood shops will be re open by ten am and close by three pm as presented by commissioner of information culture and tourism comrade Dogo shammah.

Comrade shammah said the council also lifted the lockdown imposed on Nasarawa local government area of the state.
