Nasarawa State: Executive Council Meeting

Nasarawa State government has described the inclusion of the State into federal government Agro Processing, Productivity enhancement and livelihood improvement Support Programme as a good Omen.

Governor Abdullahi Sule gave the indication during the State executive Council meeting at the government house lafia.

Agro processing, productivity enhancement and livelihood improvement support programme is a federal government world Bank Assisted programme aimed at enhancing Agricultural productivity of small and medium scale farmers and improving addition and long priority value chain in the participanting states.

Commenting on the approval of the programme which was aimed at impowering women and youths in Agricultural sector, governor Abdullahi Sule explained that the gesture is timely and Commendable considering the Agrerian nature of the state.

Governor Sule appreciated members of the Nasarawa state house of Assembly for passing into law a bill for the establishment of state mortgage Board twenty-twenty.

The governor noted that the move would give room for more real estate developers to come and invest in the State.

In another Development, Governor Abdullahi Sule also updated the state executive Council members on covid nineteen pandemic in the state, saying the number of the confirmed cases stood at four hundred and forty nine, while three hundred and forty six were discharged with karu, keffi and lafia taking the lead of the high number of the confirmed Cases across the State.
