Nasarawa State Gov Inaugurates 18 Man Committee On Education

Nasarawa State government has inaugurated the eighteen man Committee to strengthen and enhance the standard of education across the State.

Inaugurating the Committee at the government house lafia, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the move was a deliberate effort aimed at uplifting the state to new level of educational development.

Underscoring the importance of education to nation building, governor Abdullahi Sule explained that education remains one of the major priority of his administration, as was seen in the twenty-twenty budget education sector received the lion share.

Governor Sule said the composition and Inauguration of educational sector development plan is aimed at providing impetus for the actualization of the vision of his administration for the sector and the state as a whole.

Charging the Committee members to live above board, the state governor pointed out that government was meticulous in the selection of members of the committee who are guided by the terms of reference.

On her part, Chairman of the Committee and the state Commioner for education Hajiya Fati sabo pleadged thier Commitment to discharging their responsibility as expected.

The Committee has twelve weeks to submit it’s report.
