Nasarawa State Gov Sets To Release Toll Free Line To Report Insecurity

Nasarawa state government says arrangement is in Top Gear to release an emergency number for people of the state to report all cases of insecurity in their communities.

Special Adviser on Non governmental Affairs and Development partners to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state, Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi stated this at a workshop and unveiling of a website on ” Early warning, Early response system” in Lafia.

Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi explained that when operational, people can use the website to report cases of insecurity such as armed Robbery, kidnapping, Farmer herders conflict among others.

Participants at the programme that includes, the Nigeria Correctional Service, Custom, Immigration, Road safety personnel and Vigilante group as well as Civil Society organisations promised to extend the knowledge learnt and information to the public to achieve objective of the programme.
