Nasarawa State Gov To work Closely With Media Professionals

Nasarawa State Government says it will continue to work closely with media professionals to enhance good governance and quality service delivery to the people of the state.

Governor Abdullahi Sule stated this while playing host to the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr Chris Isiguzo who led officials of the Union from the North Central Zone of the country in Government House Lafia.

Governor Abdullahi Sule said no leader can succeed without the role of Journalists who are the watchdogs of the society as according to him, his administration would not relent in its efforts towards supporting media professionals in the state to enable them to thrive.

He called on the Journalists to continue to work within the ethics of the profession devoid of sentiments and falsehood.

National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr. Chris Isiguzo commended the Governor for his media friendly disposition which had led to remarkable achievements since his assumption of office, especially in the areas of health care delivery and tackling insecurity.

National Vice President of the NUJ North Central Zone, Chief Wilson Bako said the officials of the union from the zone were in Nasarawa State for their quarterly meeting and to bestow award on the governor as the Champion of Continuity in Governance among other activities.
