Nigeria Shipper’s Council Visits Radio Nigeria

Nigeria Shipper’s Council has described Kogi State as a great economic hub with it’s viable natural resources if properly harnessed and developed.

Area Officer, Nigeria Shipper’s Council, Kogi State,Mr Edwin Ignatius disclosed this while paying a courtesy visit to Radio Nigeria,Prime FM, Lokoja.

Mr Ignatius retirated the need for the state government to properly utilize the vast natural resources at their disposal for economic gain and for the growth of the state and nation at large.

According to him, the major role of the Shippers council is to protect the interest of cargo both in terms of import and export into the country.

He also called for the collaboration of the station in the organisation’s efforts at sensitising the people about it’s objectives and purpose.

Earlier, the General Manager, Radio Nigeria, Prime FM,Alhaji Adeiza Momoh Jimoh appreciated the organisation for the visit and promised to collaborate with it in sensitising the people on the mandate of the organisation.
