Northern PDP Governors tell APC to stop intimidating its members to join the party.

PDP Governors in the Northern part of the country have resolved not be intimidated into leaving their party to join the All Progressives Congress, APC led Government.

They made the resolution at a meeting of the forum held at the Taraba State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.

Briefing newsmen, Taraba State Governor, Architech Darius Ishiaku maintained that all the Governors of the PDP who have joined APC in recent times did so because of intimidation.

While expressing dissatisfaction with the kind of leadership being provided by the APC, Architect Ishiaku called on the party to desist from intimidating their members and focus on serving the people.

The Taraba State Governor observed that the Northern part of the country was being shortchanged by the APC led Government but assured that the PDP Governors would continue to do their best to serve the people.

The Governors who attended the meeting were, Darius Ishiaku of Taraba, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Aminu Tanbuwal of Sokoto, Bala Muhammed of Bauchi and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa.#
