Organized Labour In Nasarawa State Suspend Its Indefinite Strike

Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress in the state, Comrade Yusuf Iya announced the suspension of the over two weeks strike in Government House Lafia after signing agreement reached between the organized labour and the state state government.

Comrade Yusuf Iya directed all workers to resume work immediately.

Governor Abdullahi Sule who witnessed the signing of the agreement commended the organized labour for amicable resolution of the impasses for the common good of the state.

The organized labour in Nasarawa State had in June 2021 declared indefinite strike over non promotion of workers, non implementation of the National Minimum wage and non payment of annual salary increment among other demands.
