PDP Candidates win Guber Ticket in Nasarawa, Yobe, Jigawa

Former House of Representatives member Mr David Ombugadu has emerged winner of the Nasarawa state peoples Democratic party primary election.

Mr David Ombugadu scored 247 votes to defeat Retired major General Nuhu Angbazo who scored 203 votes.

Mr Ombugadu was also the state PDP governorship flag bearer in the 2019 general elections.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Sharif Abdu has been declared winner of Peoples Democratic Party governorship primary election in Yobe state.

Declaring the result, the returning officer Dr Aminu Taura said Sharif Abdu got 295 votes to defeat two other aspirants.

Dr Ali Adamu Tikau came second with 129 votes while Abba Gana Tata came third with 109 votes.

The number of accredited delegates for the Yobe PDP Governorship primaries stand at five hundred and thirty nine with six invalid votes.

Also, The Son of Former Jigawa State Governor, Mustapha Sule Lamido has emerged gubernatorial flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Jigawa state for the forthcoming 2023/general election.

Mustapha Lamido was elected as PDP candidate during the party’s gubernatorial primary election held at Dutse stadium.

Announcing the result, the Chairman electoral panel, Mr Isah Ahmed said Mustapha Sule Lamido scored 829 votes
