Nasarawa PDP Advice Electorates to Resist Exchange of PVC for Money

Stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Nasarawa State have stressed the need for electorates in the state to resist temptation of giving out their Permanent voters card PVC to anyone in exchange for money.

They made the call at a PDP campaign rally for the 2023 general elections in keffi local government area of the state.

Nasarawa state PDP Governorship candidate, Dr David Ombugadu alleged that the party have received report that some people were going round purchasing PVC’s particularly from women in rural areas to prevent them from participating in next year’s general election.

The PDP governorship candidate advised residents to make sure they promptly inform security agencies of any individual or group who approached them to give out their PVC’s for money or the guise of assisting them to acquire loan.

Dr Ombugadu gave an assurance of implementing policies that would empower women and youths if elected governor come 2023.

Chairman of Atiku/Ombugadu campaign council in the state ,senator Walid Jibril described PDP as the true national party and remains favourite to win next year’s general election from top to bottom.

According to the former PDP BOT chairman ,electorates should shine their eyes and vote credible and trusted candidates particularly PDP that would provide dividends of democracy to them and future generations .

Director General of the Campaign council and former minister of information Labaran Maku said most of the critical infrastructure presently being enjoyed by citizens of the state were provided by PDP government. .

Mr Labaran Maku warned women and youths against any temptation that would disenfranchised them to vote for good governance in 2023..
