Plateau State Govt To Complete Lalong legacy Projects

The plateau state government said it would complete all Lalong legacy projects in the state .

Commissioner for information and communication Dan Manjang disclosed this to newsmen during a tour of projects in the state .

The first day of the tour saw the team inspecting projects on the southern zone of the state.

The commissioner said a total of 29 billion naira source from the capital market has been set aside for the projects.

At one of the project sites in Quanpan at the college of art science and technology kurgwi where the team inspected the lalong legacy projects which include classrooms multipurpose hall admin block staff quaters and hostels among others.

Provost of the institution Patrick Biryam said the project when compleated would impact the people and local government positively adding that it will uplift the school in all ramifications

Other projects inspected are road projects, bridges from parts of quanpan linking through shendam and the ajikamai road network.

Other projects include water treatment plants, model primary and secondary schools general hospitals and the proposed plateau state specialist hospital shendam among others, all spread within the southern zone of the state.

The team will continue the inspection in the central and northern parts of the state.
