PMB Condoles Benue Government Over Tanker Explosion

President Muhammadu Buhari has sympathized with the government and people of Benue State over the Tanker explosion that has left several people dead in Agatu Local Government Area of the State.

A condolence message issued by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, says the President is worried by the frequency of tanker explosion incidents on public roads and residential areas. 

The President authorizes road traffic authorities and transportation ministries to urgently address the recurrence of the incidence. 

He warns that public safety must not be compromised under any circumstances. 

President Buhari calls for strict adherence to safety standards and procedures, stressing that the rules should be enforced without fear or favour.
