Police in Kaduna has arrested 5 vandals with railways sleepers.

The Command’s Spokesperson ASP Mohammed Jalige, said in a statement on Saturday that the suspects were arrested in Dalle village in Jema’a LGA and recovered two trucks loaded with locomotive railway sleepers.

He said they were being investigated to identify all people involved in the destruction of critical national infrastructure.

The statement refuted report of a viral video showing vandals removing components of a rail track, with is being insinuated to be Abuja-kaduna rail line.

He advised the public to disregard the said video and pictures, saying the rail line has not being tampered with and the incidences are separate.
