Police Parades Over Fifty Six Suspected Looters In Kogi

Over fifty six suspected looters and vandals have been paraded by the Kogi State police command for looting and destruction of private properties.

Parading the suspects, the state commissioner of police,, mr Ede Ayuba Ekpeji said the suspects looted properties at the Agricultural Development project office, the essential drugs warehouse and the Federal ministry of agriculture along Ganaja road.

He explained that eighteen suspects were arrested in connection with the vandalism at the federal ministry of Agriculture and the premises of Agricultural development project located at felele, lokoja.

Mr Ekpeji further explained that nine suspects were arrested in connection with the warehouse of Essential drug of the kogi State government.

Further investigation according to him led to the arrest of other thirteen suspects in connection with the breaking and looting of Essential drug of the state ministry of works warehouse the kogi agricultural Development project.

Mr Ekpeji said the suspects would be investigated and charged to court, calling on people to continue to provide the police with useful information on the activities of criminals.
