Senator Akwashiki Launches Laudable Projects Across Wamba Communities

The Senator Representing Akwanga, Nassarawa Eggon and Wamba Local Government Areas in Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone, Senator Godiya Akwashiki has commissioned schools, transformers and Primary Health Care Centre in Wamba.

The lawmaker who commissioned LGEA Primary School in the Bina community said it would relieve children of the area and nearby Yanga village of the burden of trekking over ten (10) kilometres to Ambaka community, to acquire knowledge.

While commissioning the Primary Health Care Centre in Gbambu, and transformers in Kose and Angwan Abakpa communities as sub-stations, the lawmaker said it would help in meeting their health challenges as and when due, while the electricity will create job employment for teeming unemployed youths of the communities.

Senator Godiya Akwashiki who further explained that the transformers would provide electricity to Kalma, Lago, Gida, Gwanza, Gbambu, Kachiro, Angwan Maigangan & Raga communities, called on residents of the benefitted communities to protect the projects and ensure proper use of them as well as vote leaders who have their interest at heart.

Village heads of some of the communities: Safiyanu Kose and Yakubu Sarki said the people cannot wait to re-elect Senator Godiya Akwashiki, to attract more developmental projects to the areas.

Officer in charge of the Primary Health Care Centre, PHCC, Mohammed Shama Usman thanked the Senator and assured him of the PHCC readiness to render quality healthcare service to its host communities.

Some primary school students at the LGEA, Bina community, Aisha Isah and Haruna Iliya said they are eternally grateful to Senator Akwashiki for giving them a condusive environment to learning.
