UBA Donates Over 20 Million Naira To Curb Coronavirus Spread

As part of effort to Contain the spread of Coronavirus also known as COVID 19, the United Bank for Africa UBA has Donated Over twenty -eight million Naira to the Nasarawa State goverment.

Presenting the Cash Donation to governor Abdullahi Sule at the government house lafia, the Bank’s Regional manager North Central Danjuma Salisu said the gesture was part of the Bank’s effort to the state governments towards Combating the spread of dreaded Coronavirus pandemic across the country.

The North Central Regional manager, Danjuma Salisu said Considering Continues Spread of COVID -19 across the globe and the country, the Bank’s deemed it necessary to contribute its quota to the state governments towards fighting the Spread of COVID -19 pandemic.

Reciving the Cash Donation on behalf of government and people of Nasarawa State, Governor Abdullahi Sule said there is no better time for philanthropist and orther spirited individuals to support the country with these type of donations to help fight the disease than now.

Governor Sule explained that even though Nasarawa State is yet to record any Confirmed Case of COVID -19, but Considering the proximity of the state with the nations capital Abuja adequate Steps needed to be taking as precautionary measures to Contain the Spread of the disease in the state.
