Popular Nigerian media personality, actress, and vlogger Toke Makinwa has announced that she is expecting her first child.
Sharing the news on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Makinwa described the pregnancy as the ‘biggest project’ and the ‘highest calling’ of her life.
Reflecting on her journey to motherhood, the 40-year-old expressed deep gratitude to God, noting that the experience has transformed her life, strengthened her faith, and affirmed the perfect timing of this new chapter.
‘This is a testament to divine faithfulness,’ she wrote, adding that she feels fully prepared for the path ahead.
In her emotional post, Makinwa wrote:
‘The biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever! 2025… What a difference a year can make. That was my prophetic declaration entering into the new year. Dear God, You did this one. You have completely changed my life. You opened a door that no one can shut’.
The actress continued,
‘I hope I never get over what You’ve done for me. You stirred the waters and placed me in Yourself. This testimony, this timing… You truly make all things beautiful in Your time, and this is just perfect’.
‘You are the God who would risk His own reputation just to save me. All those times I thought You had forgotten me; I didn’t understand why it took so long. But now I see it’.
‘You were working on my heart posture, preparing me for the biggest blessing and the highest calling. You truly are the God of time and chance’, she added.
