Victims of Monday night’s attack in Chakfem Community, Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau State, have received humanitarian support to cushion the impact of the heinous attack on the people.
This followed the intervention of Matthew Kwarpoe, Member representing Mangu South, and the Plateau State Emergency Management Agency SEMA, who visited the affected communities on Wednesday.




The legislator donated 20 bags of 100kg corn and ₦1 million for food purchases, and also recruited two medical personnel to support the overstretched clinic.
In a swift response, the Plateau State Emergency Management Agency SEMA also delivered relief materials, including mattresses, seasonings, food items, toiletries, and other essential items, to the victims.
The member thanked the state government for assisting the victims and conveyed goodwill from the Speaker, Naanlong Daniel to the people.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the people of Mangu South, especially Chakfem Chiefdom to ensure peace is restored.
