NAFDAC Raises Alarm Over Fake Cowbell 12g Sachet Milk in Circulation.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted Nigerians to the circulation of counterfeit Cowbell 12g sachet milk in markets across the country.
In a public notice issued on Friday, the agency said it was informed by Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the official producer and rights holder of the Cowbell brand,about the discovery of fake versions of its popular sachet milk.
According to NAFDAC, the counterfeit product is designed to look like the genuine Cowbell milk, copying its name, logo, packaging, and even bearing a falsified registration number.
