Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Federal University of Lafia, FULAFIA branch has staged a peaceful protest over non implementation of their demands.
Members of the Union during a protest march around the university community carried placards with different inscriptions such as “Pay your withheld salaries now”, “ASUU Rejects FG tertiary institution loan”, “pay us our 12 Months 25/35% arrears”, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Approve and Implement Yayale Ahmed Committee Report Now, Delay is Dangerous”
Correspondent Kalu Idika reports that the peaceful protest has obstructed academic activities in the institution.
