Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to build a future anchored on quality education, accessible healthcare, vibrant industries, and food security for all citizens.
Governor Ododo stated this in a goodwill message to the people of the state in commemoration of the 34th anniversary of Kogi’s creation.
Describing the anniversary as both a moment of sober reflection and renewed hope, the governor said the occasion offers an opportunity to look back on the state’s journey since its creation in 1991, examine present realities, and chart a brighter path forward.
He noted that despite its humble beginnings and the challenges faced over the years, the state has recorded remarkable strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and rural development.
Governor Ododo urged citizens to take pride in the state’s achievements, uphold peace, embrace hard work, and remain steadfast in the belief in the collective destiny of the Confluence State.
