Team Nasarawa has enmassed six medals at the ongoing 9th National Youth Games holding in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
Sidi Ibrahim won the State First Gold medal after defeating Twenty-One other States to emerge champion in the Boys’ Junior Stable Ford Golf competition.
He also won a bronze medal in the Eclectic Golf event.
In Shooting Sports, Team Nasarawa settled for bronze medal in the Mixed Air Rifle competition, ahead of seventeen other States.
The duo of Sodunke Samuel Opeyemi and Oluwatomiwa Quwiyat thrilled their counterparts from Imo and Rivers States who finished first and second positions
So far, Team Nasarawa has One Gold, and Five Bronze medals, including Three bronze medals won in Karate Boys’ and Girls’ Categories courtesy of Magdalen Inji -47kg Alexander Otuma, -50kg, and Chineye Agbo +47kg.
