Kwara State Government has procured 30 new transformers to support the economic growth and development of citizens in the state.
The State Commissioner for Energy, Mr. Kola AbdulAzeez AbdulGaniy, disclosed this today at the Ministry’s premises while receiving the second batch of the transformers.
Mr. AbdulGaniy reiterated that access to electricity plays a critical role in improving security and driving economic growth in communities and assured that the present administration would continue to prioritize the welfare of all citizens.*
The Commissioner noted that the procurement was aimed at boosting electricity, improving the economy, and enhancing social amenities in the state.
He further disclosed that the first batch of 16 transformers was received on 15th August, 2025, while the remaining 14 transformers arrived at the early hours of today, as Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq remains committed to the welfare and security of the people.
