She explained that the upward review brings the total revised budget to over six hundred and thirty-two billion naira.
According to her, the adjustment was captured in the Committee’s report on the Revised and Supplementary Appropriation Bill for the year 2025.
Hajia Lawal noted that the revised recurrent revenue now stands at over four hundred and seventy-one billion naira—an increase of more than seventy-one billion naira from the earlier approved figure.
On the expenditure side, she revealed that the revised recurrent expenditure is put at over two hundred and three billion naira, reflecting a slight reduction of about two-point-two billion naira compared to the earlier projection.
She added that the revised capital expenditure now stands at more than four hundred and twenty-nine billion naira, showing an increase of over fifty billion naira above the earlier approved figure.
The lawmaker expressed gratitude to the House for the opportunity given to her committee to serve.
