Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing quality healthcare, education for all citizens, and basic amenities across every part of the state.
The governor made this known during an inspection tour of ongoing projects in the Western Senatorial District of the state.
Speaking at the newly constructed Primary Healthcare Centre in Agbadu, Ayegunle-Igun, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Governor Ododo noted that the community previously lacked government presence.

He said the initiative was in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at making healthcare accessible and affordable to all Nigerians.
The governor explained that the inspection tour afforded him firsthand knowledge of the people’s needs, assuring that his administration would strive to meet them within available resources.
Governor Ododo commended the people of Kabba-Bunu for their cooperation and sense of ownership of the projects, urging traditional rulers to maintain close communication with the government on the needs of their subjects.

He also lauded the contractor handling the projects for maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely delivery, disclosing that work on the sites had reached about 95 percent completion.
The governor’s tour also took him to Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School as well as the Erosion Control and Ecological Development Project at Kogi State University, Kabba.
