The Anambra State Police Command has arrested the key suspect in the murder of the Bishop of End-Reconciliation Ministry, a Pentecostal church in Asaba, Delta State.
According to police reports, the suspect, who worked as the Bishop’s driver and domestic staff, allegedly conspired with other yet-to-be-identified accomplices to kill the Bishop and steal his Toyota Prado Jeep.
Briefing journalists at the Command Headquarters in Amawbia, Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu stated that the suspect was apprehended in Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area, while attempting to sell the stolen vehicle.
Mr. Orutugu confirmed that the Prado Jeep has been recovered. Both the suspect and the alleged buyer are currently in police custody undergoing interrogation.
