Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, has led a delegation to Kogi State to commiserate with Governor Usman Ododo over the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani.
The Vice President, who was received at the Obajana Airstrip by the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, described the late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani as a man of profound faith and humility, whose dedication to God and humanity is evident in the leadership qualities of his son, Governor Ododo.




Senator Shettima urged the governor and his family to find solace in the fact that their late patriarch lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind enduring legacies of discipline, honesty, and compassion.
In his response, Governor Ododo expressed deep gratitude to the Vice President for taking time out of his busy schedule to console his family, noting that the visit was not only an expression of solidarity but also a reflection of Shettima’s commitment to unity and compassion.
The Vice President was accompanied by Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum,on the condolence visit.
