Seventeen Commissioners have been sworn-in by Governor Hyacinth Alia with a charge to contribute their wealth of knowledge to impact on the administration to record more strides.
The Commissioners include, Tiza Imojime, Doctors Yanmar Ortese and Frederick Ikyaan, Ugwu Odoh, Kwaghgba Amande, Aondowase Kunde, Michael Oglegba, Alumo Orpin and Dennis Iyaghigba.
Others are Ogwuche Ejeh, Professor Yangien Ornguga, Peter Egbodo, James Dwem, Joseph Jir, Margaret Adamu, Theresa Ikwue and Benjamin Ashaver.


Governor Alia charged the commissioners to be responsible, transparent and accountable.
The Governor advised the commissioners to always reach out to people in their various Local Governments and tell them what his administration is doing and equally charged them to organise accountability press briefings to escalate the developmental programmes and policies of the Government.
Governor Alia emphasised the need for the new cabinet members to join forces with him to defeat insecurity in some of the troubled communities.
Responding on behalf of his colleagues, Dennis Iyaghigba pledged to work for the betterment of the state.
The new commissioners are to be assigned portfolios on Wednesday this week during the executive council meeting.
