Some residents of Angwan Ashumaga in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area, Nassarawa State, have appealed to the state government to renovate the abandoned primary healthcare center that was destroyed by a fire disaster almost a year ago.
They made their feelings known while exchanging views with Radio Nigeria Precious FM in Nassarawa Eggon.
One of the residents, Isa Abdullahi, said the Ashumaga abandoned primary health care had been very supportive to the people of the area, particularly pregnant women and children.
Another respondent, Hauwa Abubakar, appealed to the local government council’s chairman, Iliya Ibn Aliyu, in collaboration with the state primary health care development agency, to renovate the Ashumaga PHC to reduce the challenges faced by people of the area.
Our correspondent, who visited the abandoned Ashumaga Primary Health Care Center, reports that the structure has remained untouched since it was destroyed in a fire.
