The Tiv Youth Organization, TYO has joined its voice to that of a widow, Mrs Katherine Antsum to demand justice over the adoption and gruesome murder of her daughter, Miss Favour Akaaza by suspected armed Fulani youths.
Late Miss Favour Akaaza of Imon community in Adudu Chiefdom of Obi Local Government Area, Nasarawa state was abducted in her residence at Ombi Anzaku along Kwandere road in Lafia and was murdered.
The Tiv Youth group in the state in a statement issued by its President, Comrade Isaiah Audu condemned in strong terms the brazen abduction of twenty four year old armless Miss Favour Akaaza from her residence and matcheted by some suspected armed Fulani men leading to her death in her prime.
Describing the act as barbaric, inhuman, heartbreaking and a direct assault on the peace and security of communities in the state, the Tiv youth President advocated swift and transparent prosecution of the two Fulani youths who are in custody and have already confessed to the crime.

He commended the youths in Ambana community and security agencies for their rapid response towards apprehending the culprits, calling on relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served without compromise.
According to Comrade Isaiah, the Tiv Youth Organization is committed to promoting peace, justice and the protection of lives and property across the State, appealing to government and security agencies to intensify efforts towards curbing rising cases of armed violence and protecting innocent citizens from further attacks.
